Dear friend of mine,
Even though I've only known you for a little while, I still feel as if you're a friend I've know for years.  I know you have to leave, and it's hard to see you go. I wish I could make it so that you could stay a little longer. But alas I can't. I feel as if my heart is torn in two, for I know that I want you to stay, but I don't want you to be in any suffering if you already are. My dear friend, they say that goodbye is not forever. I hope that's true, for not only can I see you again, but all of the loved ones that I have said goodbye to. It still hurts me to say this, my emotions are still in disarray, my mind still trying to get used to the idea that you're gone, but I know I must for if I don't, I won't be able to move on and convince myself that you're in a better place. So, I will say this and hope that it will help the both of us. Goodbye my dear friend, may you rest in peace.
